He is surprised when, on arriving in Himring (though he was so sure they were going to Himlad), his mother hands him his phone. He is woozy from the journey (he does hate flying; more and more, it seems and no manner of remedy suggested by his mother seems to work) but he is overjoyed. He dials Ecthelion's number (because he promised). His face falls when it fails to connect.
